Dean’s Message
- اقْرَأْ باِسْمِ رَبِّكَِ الذَِّي خَلَقَ
Translation:
"Recite in the name of your Lord who created.
Knowledge and education constitute the cornerstone of
sustainable development, social stability, and good governance. A society
achieves maturity and long-term prosperity when its citizens are equipped with
knowledge, protected by the rule of law, and able to exercise their rights and
responsibilities within a lawful and institutional framework. Ensuring access
to justice, legal certainty, and social wellbeing requires a well-educated and
professionally trained human capital.
In this context, it is a fundamental responsibility of
the state and higher education institutions to develop competent, ethical, and
professionally qualified graduates across key disciplines, including law,
political science, and public administration. In response to Afghanistan’s political,
economic, cultural, and social needs, higher education institutions must
function as strategic platforms for capacity building, policy development, and
societal transformation.
The Faculty of Law and Political Sciences was
established in accordance with the relevant laws, regulations, and academic
policies of the Ministry of Higher Education, with a clear mandate to promote
justice, strengthen the rule of law, enhance good governance, and contribute to
national development objectives. The Faculty operates within a structured
academic and administrative framework that emphasizes outcome-based education,
quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
Through its four-year undergraduate programs offered
by the Department of Law and the Department of Political Science and
International Relations, the Faculty systematically prepares graduates for
service in legal, political, administrative, and judicial institutions. The
academic programs are designed to equip students with analytical skills,
professional competencies, ethical values, and a strong sense of national
responsibility, consistent with internationally recognized academic and
professional standards.
The Faculty’s vision and mission are clearly defined
and aligned with institutional strategic plans and quality enhancement
mechanisms. We are committed to providing inclusive, high-quality academic
services that respond to societal needs, labor market demands, and national
priorities. We firmly believe that investing in youth education and human capital
development is a sustainable solution to addressing structural challenges and
fostering long-term social stability.
All
academic and administrative staff of the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences
operate under the direct supervision of university leadership and are fully
committed to academic integrity, effective governance, and continuous quality
improvement. Through dedication, professionalism, and adherence to quality
assurance principles, the Faculty remains focused on delivering high-quality teaching
and learning experiences for its students.
Respectfully
Teaching
