Introduction
The Faculty of Law and Political Sciences was
established concurrently with the founding of the university, following
official approval by the Ministry of
Higher Education on 24 October 2009,
in Kabul, the capital of
Afghanistan. The faculty commenced its academic operations in accordance with
national higher education regulations and standards.
In 2023,
the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences was officially relocated to Nangarhar Province, where it continues
to carry out its academic, educational, and research activities. To date, the
faculty has successfully educated and graduated 2,098 male and female students across 16 academic cohorts, contributing qualified graduates to the legal,
political, and public service sectors.
The Faculty of Law and Political Sciences comprises two academic departments: Law, and Political Science and International Relations. These departments
are committed to delivering quality education, promoting academic excellence,
and fostering professional competence in their respective disciplines.
The administrative and academic structure of the
faculty includes the Dean, Heads of Departments, academic staff, and a Teaching Manager, who collectively
ensure effective academic governance, instructional quality, and compliance
with institutional and national academic standards.
