Re-join students' Guidelines
Regarding the issue of
students’ continuation of studies after missing several semesters, who request
to resume their studies in private higher education institutions, based on
Decree No. (1442/12) dated (26) and Article (6), the following decision has
been implemented:
1. If a student has
been absent for up to one semester,
they are allowed to continue their studies without any restriction.
2. If a student has
been absent for two or up to five
semesters, they are permitted to continue their studies after being
introduced/referred (for evaluation).
3. If a student has
been absent for six or up to eight semesters,
they may continue their studies after being introduced/referred for two semesters.
4. If a student has
been absent for more than eight
semesters, they may continue their studies after being introduced/referred for three semesters.
1. those repeating-semester
students may resume their studies after the repetition has been implemented.
2. those freeze
students who have taken a freeze for one semester or one year may also resume
their studies under normal conditions
